Fr Donavan/Nerd Night!

This Sunday (11/14) is Fr Donavan Night at EYC Smiley! Come hang out with our new "youth" priest, and ask lots of questions! For the first time in the last month, we will have our regular EYC time of 5-7 p.m. for Junior High (7th-8th graders) and 6-8 p.m. for Senior High (9th-12th graders). Bring $4 per person for dinner, and don't forget that EYC attendance is a big factor in who goes on both the Ski Trip and Mission Trips!

November 14th is also our first EYC Theme Night, and our first theme is Nerd Night Smiley, so dress up this Sunday in your best geek chic!

Fr Donavan and I are coming to Episcopal for High School Chapel, and both Middle and High School lunch THIS Wednesday (November 10th)! Come and get some of Leah's fresh baked cookies Free Smiley Face Courtesy of www.FreeSmileys.org!

Christmas Tree Lot Sign-ups have started Smiley! The Christmas Tree Lot is our primary youth group fundraiser for Mission Trips and scholarships, and it will run from Friday, November 26th (my B-day!) until we sell out of trees. We unload the trees on Thanksgiving Day (November 25th). The Tree Lot will be open from 10 a.m.-8 p.m. on weekends, and 5-8 p.m. on weekdays. I'll have the official sign-up sheet at EYC on Sunday!

Random Holiday : In culinary news, today (11/8) is Cook Something Bold and Pungent Day (yes, that is a real holiday--click here for more info)!

Speaking of random, here's a quick video of some of the car craziness on the way back from Paintballing:

NEXT Sunday (November 21st) is EYC Tie-Dye Night Smiley! Bring your favorite pillowcases, socks, and shirts! You can also buy a St Mark's T (if you already got your free one) for $5 each.

We only have a few spots left for the Diocesan Ski Trip to North Carolina over President's Day weekend (Feb 18-21) Smiley! The Ski Trip is $350 per skier, $365 per snowboarder, and $255 if you don't ski. Priority will be given to active EYC members, and a $100 deposit will secure your spot!

The second group of Paintball pics are shots on the Paintball field (including another picture from Deb):

This week, let us pray for all families who have lost a loved one this year.
