Movie Character Night!

This Sunday is our Movie Character Theme Night ! Dress up as any movie or TV Character (church-appropriate, of course), and there will be a prize for the most creative outfit! Junior EYC is 5-7 p.m., and Senior EYC is 6-8 p.m.

The Junior High will focus on a fun video series called Velocity this semester. With the videos, we will learn real-life ways that you can serve Christ with your life.

The Senior High program for this semester will continue with our Dirty Faith theme by tackling the big questions of our faith (provided by our own teenagers last Sunday), like: Why do bad things happen to good people? How can you tell if God is talking to you?

THIS Tuesday (January 11th) is our second St Mark's Follies meeting , from 7-8 p.m. in the church library. Remember, Follies is one of our major fundraisers for the summer Mission Trips!

We also have a Youth Council Meeting NEXT Tuesday (January 18th) in the library from 7-8 p.m.

The Candidate application deadline for Happening #119 has been pushed back to Wednesday (January 12th)! Happening is an Episcopal renewal weekend for 10th-12th graders held at Camp Weed three times a year. Happening #119 will be January 28th-30th, and you can sign up here.

For those of you who listen to Christian music (especially you KJ-52 fans from 7th Grade Camp), Winter Jam is coming to Jacksonville THIS Friday (January 14th) ! Winter Jam is a concert experience with 10 different bands (including Newsboys, David Crowder Band, and KJ-52)--and the tickets are only $10 each! Check out this preview video:
