Spring Kickoff!

EYC Spring Kickoff is here ! This Sunday (January 9th), we're meeting for the first time in 2011! We will have our regular schedule (Juniors 5-7 p.m., Seniors 6-8 p.m.), and we'll be discussing how we can impact the world for Christ through our actions. Don't miss it!

Our pictures for this week are from my trek to Atlanta for Passion 2011, a worship event for college aged students that I volunteer at each year. Over 22,000 college students were there this year! We'll start with some professional shots (including one of lunch outside of the arena):






Candidate applications for Happening #119 are due this Sunday (January 9th )! Happening is an Episcopal renewal weekend for 10th-12th graders held at Camp Weed three times a year. Happening #119 will be January 28th-30th, and you can sign up here.

For those of you who listen to Christian music (especially you KJ-52 fans from 7th Grade Camp), Winter Jam is coming to Jacksonville on Friday, January 14th ! Winter Jam is a concert experience with 10 different bands (including Newsboys, David Crowder Band, and KJ-52)--and the tickets are only $10 each! We haven't decided to go as a youth group, but if there is enough interest we could make it work. Check out this preview video:



Our Diocesan Ski Trip is coming up President's Day Weekend (Feb 18th-21st ), and the final payment of $250 per person will be due THIS Sunday (January 9th)! I will also be sending you each an equipment rental form to fill out and turn in.

THIS Tuesday (January 11th) is our second St Mark's Follies meeting , from 7-8 p.m. in the church library. Remember, Follies is one of our major fundraisers for the summer Mission Trips!

We also have a Youth Council Meeting NEXT Tuesday (January 18th) in the library from 7-8 p.m.
