Follies 2011!!

St Mark's Follies is here ! Follies (a spaghetti dinner/talent show to support our summer mission trips) is THIS Sunday (March 6th) from 5-7 p.m. in Leatherbury Hall! If you are going on the Mission Trip, you need to be at Leatherbury Hall by 2 p.m.--in your St Mark's Tie Dye Shirt!

Don't forget! If you are not going on the Mission Trip, we still need you on Sunday for our Waving Flag dance . We're the final act, so please be there by 6:30 p.m. if you're not attending the rest of Follies.

Our first group of pictures are from our Senior High-led combined EYC. We played a balloon game, and they led a Bible study on having a child-like faith.




Speaking of Follies, our final Follies planning meeting is Tuesday night (3/1), from 7-8 p.m. in the library!

Random Holiday : Tomorrow (3/1) is Pig Day--apparently a day big enough to have its own Wikipedia page here! Oink, Oink!

Have you heard of ICARE ? ICARE is a faith-based group of 27 congregations that are trying to make a difference in the city of Jacksonville. As Christians, we need to be part of the solution, not part of the problem! ICARE's big event, the Nehemiah Rally, is coming up on Monday, April 11th--and we are trying to get 100 people from St Mark's to attend. Can we make 20 of that 100 youth group members? Happening #120 (a weekend at Camp Weed for 9th-12th graders) is coming up on April 1-3 ! We have 5 St Mark's people on team, and this is the first Happening that 9th graders can attend! If you're interested, click here for more info (or here to sign up)! Applications are due by March 16th.

Revolve Tour girls' event is coming up March 18th-19th in Lakeland ! If you are signed up, please bring in your $75 as soon as possible. More info coming...
