All Service Sunday!

The Senior High EYC is planning to volunteer at Angels for Allison THIS Wednesday night (April 27th), starting at 7 p.m.! Come ready to paint some angels .

All Service Sunday (a day when St Mark's as a church serves the Jacksonville community together) is THIS Sunday (May 1st), from 12-4:30 p.m. . We really need signups from the youth and youth group families! If you are a project head, don't forget that you need to be recruiting workers.

We will have lunch after the 11:00 service, and then we will go out to serve at these projects: Sulzbacher, Habijax, St Mary's Episcopal Church, St Mark's Day School, Ortega Elementary, Riverkeepers, Park Cleanup, and St Mark's Church. Afterwards, everyone is invited to an Ice Cream Social/Pow-wow to relax and discuss their experiences! Go here, and click on Events to sign up!

OMA What A Day (the Lock-In for those going on the Outdoor Mission Adventure) is THIS weekend (April 29th-30th), from 7:00 p.m. on Friday night-10:00 a.m. on Saturday morning. Get ready for some fun, games, and learning! Everyone needs to bring $20, and all of your regular sleepover stuff.

Youth Sunday is coming up in NEXT week (Sunday, May 8th), and we need volunteers ! The open positions are: Ushers (8:45 only), Greeters (both services), Oblationers (bringing up the wine and bread after the Offertory--8:45 only), and Youth Band (which is both the 8:45 and 11:00 services).

If you are reading at either service, don't forget that we are having a mandatory rehearsal on Friday, May 6th at 6 p.m. in the Church. Don't be late!

Are you interested in joining St Mark's Youth Council ? The Youth Council is made up of Junior and Senior EYC members, and we meet monthly to discuss EYC, and ideas on how to improve and get closer to God. The application for this year's Council is attached to the Blog e-mail!
