Super Bowl Party!

Thank you to everyone who volunteered at the St Mark's Annual Meeting! The church really appreciated our help .

Are you ready for some football ? THIS Sunday (2/5) is our annual EYC Super Bowl Party, from 5:30 p.m. through Halftime! Here's your chance to watch the game on the really big screen! If your last name is A-L, bring a 2-liter drink to the party. If your last name is M-Z, please bring chips (NOT Tortilla chips--we have plenty) or a dessert. Please let me know if you are coming!

The next St Mark's Follies Planning Meeting will THIS Thursday (February 2nd) from 7-8 p.m. in the church library. Participation is mandatory if you are going on the Mission Trip !

Speaking of Follies (which is Sunday, March 4th from 5-7 p.m. in Leatherbury Hall), we need to decide what St Mark's EYC will do as our "group act". Below is one idea--Ice Cream and Cake:

Do you want to change the world ? St Mark's EYC is doing the 30 Hour Famine in less than a month (February 24-25)! By raising money, and then fasting for 30 hours, you can change the lives of children around the world. The only cost to do the Famine is $10 (for a T-shirt). Check out this video:



During the weekend, we will volunteer at the Ortega River Run, play lots of games, watch movies, and (of course) have a whole lot of fun! Get your fundraising packet this Sunday at EYC, and get more info on the Famine by clicking here. Sign up by THIS SUNDAY (2/5)--Overcome Hunger!
